- This privacy policy relates to use of the Got the GiST web site at http://gotthegist.co.nz
- This privacy policy covers how Got the GiST treats personal information, including financial information that it collects and stores.
- This privacy policy does not cover data collection from children. We do not knowingly collect data from children, and do not take specific steps to protect the privacy of children who disclose their data to us.
Information collection and how it is used
General Information
As part of the signup process with Got the GiST we require that you disclose your email address, first and last names, a login identifier and a password. The password is stored as a secure hash. We also ask if you wish to signup for a periodic newsletter from Got the GiST as well as Glimmer Design. These details will not be disclosed to 3rd parties.
When you purchase our services, Paypal's privacy policy and terms of service will apply.
Got the GiST automatically receives information on requests by you when you view a web page. Our server records this information. We may use this information for research and development purposes, to understand how our web site is being used or for maintenance purposes.
When you submit a support query or comment on our web site, we collect your name, email address and comment or query. We keep this data for research and development purposes as well.
To effectively use Got the GiST, we require that you use cookies. A cookie is a small amount of data which often includes an anonymous unique identifier, that is sent from your browser to our service. This data is stored by your browser on your hard drive. You can choose to turn cookies off. If you turn cookies off, you may not be able to use Got the GiST.
